Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk can use 1/2evaporated milk and 1/2water
- 5 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 package cake Yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 5-6 cups flour
- 6 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions
- Scald milk, add sugar and salt, cool to lukewarm.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to milk.
- Add 3 cups flour and beat until smooth.
- Add oil and remaining flour, or enough to make an easily handled dough.
- Knead well.
- Let rise until double in bulk (1 ½ hour)
- Pinch off a piece of dough and form into round ball. Place smooth side up in a well greased pan.
- Let rise about 1 hour
- Bake at 350 degrees.
- OR
- Roll out 3/8” thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
- Crease heavily in the center with a dull knife,
- brush with butter,
- fold over and place close together in a shallow pan – cover.
- Let rise 1 hour – Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes
