vanilla
Instructions
Cut chocolate into small pieces in large pan.
Add sugar, butter, syrup, salt, and cream.
Cover, boil 5 minutes.
Uncover, boil slowly, stirring constantly to firm ball stage 248 degrees.
Remove from heat, add vanilla.
Pour in 2 buttered pie dishes.
Leave overnight.
May add nuts in bottom of dishes.
Roll in different shapes or cut in squares.
