Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 ounce of baking chocolate
- 1/2 cup melted shortening
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
- Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together.
- Melt chocolate and shortening.
- Add sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Add flour, let stand 10 minutes
- Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.
