Ingredients

yeast
Put in warm water to dissolve
1/2
cup
sugar
1/2
cup
shortening

eggs
1 Tsp salt

flour

Milk
Handful Raisins
butter melted
cinnamon
sugar
Instructions
Make yeast mixture from
1 TBSP sugar
1 package yeast
Put in warm water to dissolve
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3 eggs
Add to the yeast mixture
1 tsp salt
4 cups flour alternately with 1 cup milk
Handful raisins in the dough.
Melted Butter
Cinnamon
Sugar
Make at night and let rise.
Roll out and spread with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll the dough up. Place on round pan and seal ends.
Use scissors, dipped in warm water and snip the dough about 3/4 through. With fingers gently pull the cut pieces outward.
Let Rise about 1 hour.
Bake 350 until brown
Spread with the powdered sugar icing.
