  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening or butter
  • 2 egg yolks beaten
  • 2 cup square melted chocolate or 1/2cocoa
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 beaten egg whites

  • 1/2 cup nuts

  • 2 beaten egg whites
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add chocolate and egg yolks
  3. Add milk, and flour alternately
  4. Add vanilla and nuts
  5. Fold in egg whites
  6. Bake 350 in oblong pan 30 minutes
