Ingredients

diced turkey

package 6 ounces long grain and wild rice mix

water

chicken bouillon cube

cup
broccoli flowerets
1/2

coarsely shredded carrot

cup
half and half

sherry
optional
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a Dutch oven, sauté onion in butter until crisp-tender.
Add turkey, both packets from rice mix water and chicken bouillon.
Bring to a boil; stir cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Add broccoli and carrot
Cover and simmer 5 minutes more
Stir in half and half
Heat to serving temperature; do not boil
Stir in Sherry, salt, and pepper to taste
